From 24 July to 17 August 2010, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia will hold a big maritime event Sail Banda 2010. The event will be centered in Ambon, Maluku Province. It aims to show international public that Maluku has been safe for tourism and investment as well as to boost the economic growth on the eastern regions of Indonesia.

“Small Islands For Our Future” is the main theme of the event. It comes from geographical structure of small islands in Maluku in which now are under threat of climate change.

The programs of Sail Banda 2010 are:

4.    International Conference on Small Island

5.    Cooperation Conference Indonesia-Australia (G to G and P to P)
