Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Western Australia (PPIA-WA) supported by Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in Perth and Garuda Indonesia Perth presents its compliments and convey enormous appreciation for all of the support, cooperation and donation at the “Padang Earthquake Charity Bazaar: lets your pain be also mine,” which took place on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Indonesian Consulate Perth.

In this regard, the organizer has the honour to inform that donated fund reached the amount of A$ 10,931.1 and collected items weight about 100kg, will all be donated through official channel and subsequently distributed to victims of the calamity, which will help them ease their suffers in the phase of immediate respond, thus be of assistance in the rehabilitation and reconstruction process.

The organizer would like to reiterate immense gratitude for the empathy and generosity in putting much effort on gathering humanitarian assistance for victims of the recent nature disaster in West Sumatera.
