RETIREMENT VISA

Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia can only issue retirement visa with an approval from the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta.

To obtain the approval, following are the requirements to initiate the process. The requirements need to be submitted directly to the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta or through the travel agents listed below.

Eligibility

• Nationality: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, United Kingdom, Netherland, Belgium, Finland, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italia, Austria, Spain, United States of America, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand.
• Minimum age : 55 years old

Requirement:

• Copy of Passport with minimum of 18 months remaining validity
• Proof of pensioner fund or other income from a financial institution or bank with minimum amount of US$1500/monthly.
• Health/Medical Insurance
• Life Insurance
• Third party/personal liability insurance
• Curriculum Vitae
• Proof of accommodation

      Minimum Purchase of (equal to the value of) US$35.000.

      Minimum Rent of (equal to the value of):           

US$500/monthly for Jakarta, Bandung, And Bali area

      US$300/monthly for other cities in Java, Medan, and Batam.

      US$200/monthly for other cities.

• Statement to employ a local house keeper/maid

Once the approval is granted, you can submit the following requirements to the Indonesian Consulate in Perth to evidence your retirement visa.

Completed visa application form;

1(one) recent passport size photo;

original passport valid for more than 6(six)months beyond the intended length of stay;

approval letter from the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta,

fee: $165.
